Following a competitive beauty parade, Salamanca Group was appointed to act as the sole Financial Advisor to the shareholders of Miller Argent, the Welsh based mining company on its sale. Corporate Advisory led the sale process including assisting in the arrangement of the acquisition finance.

In December 2015, the Miller Group and Argent Group completed the sale of their shareholdings in Miller Argent to Gwent Investments, a private consortium based in South Wales.

Miller Argent, based in South Wales, is one of the largest and most successful surface mining companies in the UK.
