The vision

To become a national benchmark, showcasing how new communities can successfully address residents’ needs while significantly boosting the UK’s productivity.

What's next

Our focus is on accelerating the delivery of an initial consented phase on 264-acres. The planning consent allows for the construction of 1,500 homes and we will select a national housebuilder to work with us to secure reserved matters consent and enable a start on site in 2027.

In partnership with the local authority and other local stakeholders we will navigate the path ahead for further growth opportunities on our remaining land.

East Biggleswade represents a fantastic opportunity for Salamanca Group to prove the impact that long term patient capital can have on the quality of development. As master developer we can secure for future homeowners and employers the quality benchmarks which will ensure that the new community is a welcoming place to live and well managed in the long term

Situated in the heart of the Oxford Cambridge Arc our site is primed to support the region’s future employment-led growth.

We are working with key strategic partners and local stakeholders to shape the role that the wider site encompassing circa 1,000 acres will play in the future growth of the UK economy. Our aim is to support the delivery of locally specific social, economic and environmental value whilst also supporting the Government’s core missions.
