Salamanca Group, the Merchant Banking and Operational Risk business is pleased to announce that its Infinity Tower development was awarded the Office Building of the Year award at Bulgaria’s annual Building of the Year awards, 2014.
Located at Salamanca Group’s Bulgaria Mall development in Sofia, the 19 storey 21,000 sq m Infinity Tower opened earlier this year and is the first of two proposed office towers at the site. The location at the intersection of the Bulgaria and Todor Kableshkov boulevards in Sofia is ideal for companies looking for regional headquarters space and is currently home to a number of occupiers including Total, Avon Cosmetics, Telus International, Louis Dreyfus, Imperia Online, Cordeel, Kinstellar, ActivTrades and Premier Research .
One of the largest office towers built in the region this year, the building was developed by MRPI and constructed by Cordeel. The mall construction was funded with equity from clients of Salamanca Group and debt from UniCredit Bulbank and Bank Austria.
Following the completion of the first office tower, a further construction phase is due to commence on a second 14,000 sq m office.
