The Vision

To create a new a leisure destination, in the heart the Bulgarian capital, fit to represent the country’s growing national ambition.

The Outcomes

Despite the unfavourable economic climate, the expertise of our Real Estate teams, in conjunction with our joint venture partner MRP International, allowed Bulgaria Mall to welcome 104,000 visitors on the opening weekend, with a strong footfall ever since.​

​In 2013, Bulgaria Mall was the first shopping centre in Bulgaria that has been certified according to the globally recognized method for assessing the environmental performance of buildings of any type – BREEAM.

About

Bulgaria Mall was one of the largest mixed-use property projects in Bulgaria with c. 50,000 square metres of retail, office and entertainment spaces, plus the requisite parking. The Mall was opened by the President of Bulgaria in November 2012.​

​Tenants include Carrefour, H&M, Esprit, Benetton, Geox, Guess, Camper, Debenhams and Arena cinemas as well as a children’s entertainment area and restaurants.​

​A 17-storey, 20,000-square-metre office tower was completed in March 2014 and the building is substantially let to a number of international tenants.
