In 2010, Salamanca Group acquired Barcelona’s Marina Port Vell, and over the course of six years, the Group has managed a US$100million+ transformation delivering one of the preeminent superyacht destinations in the Mediterranean. The marina’s new configuration accommodates 158 yachts up to 190metres and includes two newly built state-of-the-art buildings on site; the Gallery, a facilities building dedicated to the needs of guests, captains and crew, and the OneOcean Club, a private members’ club containing a restaurant and bar. In mid-2015, the award-winning marina was rebranded to fall under OneOcean. OneOcean Port Vell continues to build its reputation as a world-class superyacht destination and in 2016 it was chosen as the host marina for the largest charter show in the Mediterranean, MYBA, for 2017-2020.
