Barcelona Port Authorities approve the Marina Port Vell Special Plan

During a board meeting held by the Barcelona Port Authorities on the 30th May, the Marina Port Vell special plan that incorporates both the Barceloneta and Clocktower quay was formally approved. The Port will now submit the project to the City Council for its final approval. The special plan includes indepth studies on the economic and social impact that the new marina will have on the local neighbourhood of La Barceloneta as well as the city itself.

A significant investment in state-of-the-art infrastructure and new five-star services will position the marina as one of the leading superyacht destinations in the world. The marina located in the heart of the city will have 164 fully serviced berths for power and sail yachts and superyachts of up to 180 meters.
